How does it work?
Thanks to the Internet, quick information and direct dialogue have become a natural part of our everyday lives. Digitization in public space offers many interesting possibilities for this.
Used as a municipal information system for cities (KISS), digital media in public space facilitate the flow of information and the dialogue between the city and its citizens. Calls for public participation, event notices to strengthen the cultural scene and support for local trade all contribute to a modern, open community based on solidarity, as do the possibility of ad hoc warnings, search messages in real time and general safety notices. Placed on streets, in the area of public transport, in pedestrian zones, train stations and shopping centers, a city can reach its citizens at any time if necessary: inside in public spaces.
